Chinka studied at the University of Melbourne completing a Bachelor of Laws in 1969 and a Bachelor of Commerce in 1970.

Chinka worked in finance and as a Law Clerk, before opening his own practice and has been operating the in Macedon Ranges for over 40 years. Chinka is known for his practical, down to earth advice.

Chinka’s expertise in matters relating to Family Law, Wills, Estates, Complex Conveyancing, Small Business and General Advice has serviced many clients and now their extended families.

Chinka enjoys sharing good food and wine with friends, has been part of many community organisations and loves playing Petanque.

Elyse Cuzzilla

Senior Solicitor

Elyse completed a Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University in 2017 and has recently completed a Masters in Wills and Estates. Elyse is now undertaking a Masters in Family Law. Elyse has also completed her Practice Management certificate in 2020.

After a week of work experience in Year 10, Elyse joined Chinka (HEP) Steel in 2008 and worked on a part-time basis whilst completing her VCE and Law studies. Elyse has over 12 years’ experience in matters relating to Family Law Property & Children, Wills and Estates, Estate Disputes and General Advice.

Elyse is a fanatical St Kilda supporter and loves spending time and drinking cocktails with her friends and playing with her fur-babies.

Elizabeth Romeril

Solicitor

Elizabeth has worked in the legal field for over 10 years and after completing her studies has recently been admitted to the Supreme Court.

Working across multiple areas, Elizabeth has expertise in Conveyancing, Complex conveyancing, Business purchase and sales, Leases and Wills and Estates.

Elizabeth commenced with Chinka (HEP) Steel in late 2019 and quickly established herself with our clients and team.

Elizabeth loves to travel and tries to get away with her husband and family whenever she can.

Melanie Lethbridge

Solicitor

Melanie completed a Bachelor of Communications at the University of Canberra in 2001 and then went on to study a Bachelor of Laws part-time. During her part-time studies she worked at the Australian Law Reform Commission and the Crown Solicitor’s Office NSW.

She was admitted to practice in 2013 and worked for Chinka (HEP) Steel until she left to have her third baby in 2015. Melanie has finally returned to the office after raising her children and enjoys working in all areas of law that come through the door of our busy office.

Melanie is an avid reader, has an obsession with roller-skating and loves to watch musicals and sports.

Vicki Smith

Conveyancer

Vicki joined the Chinka Steel team in late 2020 and quickly established herself in our conveyancing team.

Utilizing her 20 years’ experience in real estate and her knowledge of the Macedon Ranges, Vicki is excited to be managing our property settlements.

When Vicki is not hard at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies and live theatre.
